Eastern Holiday Market - Vendor Registration 2017

Thank you for your interest in selling art at the 1st annual Eastern Holiday Market!

The event takes place at The Eastern within the Eastern Market area on Sunday December 17th from 11am until 5pm. Space is limited to only 38 spaces and available for $100 (center floor) and $125 (wall with electricity) on a first-come reservation basis. Here are more specific details:

LOCAL ART and HANDMADE or HANDCRAFTED ITEMS ONLY - There are no limits on the genres or themes, but they must be of your own creation and NOT retail/commercial/MLM items or services. Some large pieces are fine, but we recommend offering some smaller affordable items for quicker sales. Mature items are also acceptable, but please prepare to make them not visible to those under 18 as this is an all ages event.

SPACE TYPES - There are 2 types of spaces available, Center Floor and Wall. Center Floor spaces ($100) will be back to back with another space and will be directly under the venue lights. Wall spaces ($125) will be against one of the outer walls and will have access to electrical outlets, but may be slightly dimmer than the Center Floor spaces. Please note that no wall hanging will be permitted anywhere.

SPECIFICATIONS - The size offered is 7x7 ft square. If you need a larger space, you are welcome to reserve a second space. Please note that this is only an empty taped-off space and actual space selection within the 2 space types listed above will be on a first-arrive first-pick basis.

TABLES/CHAIRS - We are NOT supplying tables or chairs so be sure to bring your own.

ELECTRICITY - Only wall spaces will have access to electrical outlets for extra lighting, displays, merchandise, etc. If you do reserve a wall space, please bring your own extension cords.

LIGHTING - The venue has standard "house lighting". If you are needing bright lighting, we suggest reserving a wall space and prepare to bring your own.

ASSISTANTS - Because of the limited space, please only have a maximum of 2 people in your space.

SALES - You are responsible for your own sales, card processing, change and merchandise.

SETUP INFO - Setup begins the day of the event at 9am until 10:30am. Doors open at 11am and all spaces must be ready by that time.

TEARDOWN INFO - The event ends at 5pm. Please do not close before that time, unless it is an emergency. If you do need to leave early, please let us know before your pack up so we may guide you to the proper exit procedures to not disturb the patrons.

REFUNDS - Refunds are offered in full upon request up to one week before the event date.
